The Tribotron TRIBOTOUCH Hand Abrasion Tester can be used to perform an anti-fingerprint test on surfaces. When human fingers touch a surface they will often leave greasy marks and fingerprints. Different surface materials and coatings have been designed to attempt to solve this problem and the TRIBOTOUCH hand abrasion tester can be used to compare performance of these materials and coatings.
This video application note shows how the TRIBOTOUCH has been used to compare two black matte surfaces. Only one surface has been treated with an anti-fingerprint coating.
